TT & Hawk Digital dash clusters......... - Page 4

Just installed one of these on my neighbors TT250. Tach swept, worked great.....but he just text me and said it's on KPH.
I tried poking the rubber button, turning the key off and then on with my finger on the rubber button. I even went as far as digging the install instructions out of the garbage.

Anyone have any idea how to swap it back to MPH??????

While the ignition is on. Hold the button for a few seconds and it should change

That's what I thought too. Just went and tried it again...no go.

And it also could be the opposite that it doesn't have power to the red lead. Might want to check the fuse. Do the other functions work? Like changing from trip to odometer or resetting trip?

Yep. Everything else works fine. It changed between odo, trip and resets trip when I hold it.
I think I'll try unhooking the power and resetting it as Jeffrey just mentioned.
This only happens when a person works on someone else's bike, right? ;-)

Yep, it's all your fault that its not working.

But check for power on the red lead. The cluster will still work even if it doesn't have power. That function may not work if it doesn't have power. Just thinking out loud.

I think I'll try pulling the red wire from the battery, then trying it. I'm running out of sequences.

Off the wall question. Since there is a chance I may be changing tire diameters up front at some point in the future, is the speedometer PPM adjustable? If not, what is the stock PPM signal from the wheel sensor?

yes its setable. hold down button and turn ignition on and it comes up as 21" tire push button to change. (all prior to hooking power to the unit)

Just as an update, I am getting it Monday according to the postal service. I don't think I have ever seen such a fast turn around and delivery of anything I have ordered over the internet. Amazing service.
