The LF 200 III sport bike has a 14t front and a 40t rear which is a 2.86 ratio.

Thanks Jim, I added that info to my original reply.

I'm getting old. Well, that's my "official" excuse anyway!

They're different models... I think really the main difference is the fairings, but I've never owned either of the bikes... However the B has different sprockets then the III... Your's is most likely a III.

Here is a picture of the B on the American Lifan website,

Well i dont got that one. But one thing i can see for sure is it gots much better breaks. Dual front disk breaks. I got 1 disk up frunt and a crapy drum in back. Looks like it has wider tires to. Hell that bike looks better in every way.

Major differences between the LF200-III and the LF200-B,

1: The 'B' has dual front disc brakes and a single rear disc brake vs a single front disc and a rear drum.
2: The 'B' comes with much wider tires, improving handling.
3: The 'B' has a new frame which is supposedly much better than the 'III'.

The down sides,

1: The 'III' has 1/2 kw more power than the 'B'.
2: The 'III' is about twenty or so pounds lighter Than the 'B'.
3: We have rear 520 rear sprockets ready to go for the 'III' made in a high grade aluminum.

EDIT: The 'B' also has 428 setup vs the 520 drive train on the 'III'.

You can add wider tires (Front/Rear) as I have on my LF200-III for under $300.

Here is a thread on my site discussing the evolution of my LF200-III,
