Tip Of The Day

Always check the voltage output of the charger you are going to use 'because you can't find the correct one'. It could be expensive.

12V into a 3.7V system. Fried the battery and damaged the Bluetooth Module for my helmet. So far it's cost $35 for the new battery and $70 for the new module. And I had to buy the battery to determine that the module was toast because access to the battery terminals is not possible with human hands. Trust me, I tried.

Another seventy five bucks would get me a new helmet with a more advanced BT system that uses button cells that I can get at Menards.

As anal as I am, I usually try to put a piece of masking tape on the back of them and mark them with a Sharpee what they go to....but that still didn't stop me from assembling a massive snarl of mystery chargers.....

"Don't take any wooden nickels" and "don't buy a Chinese enduro from power sports max!"

The first one I couldn't resist, the second one is my tip of the day which I couldn't resist sharing either.

Looks like a new BT helmet in my future. New module worked no better than the old one and I busted the helmet foam trying to access the rest of the unit. Maybe one of these next time and a BT ready helmet.

I have an SMH10. sound quality is good. for unit to unit work, there is no voice activation. I liked my old Scala Q2 better for that.

All I really want anymore is the FM receiver. Mrs. C and I can yell at each other.
