Another New Hawk has arrived

So morning update. It's overcast till after noon some time. I'm headed to try to register it. Wish me luck

Cold starts are a PITA to get it to idle. On choke, cold start, doesn't want to idle by itself without partial throttle help. Once warm, it idled fine off choke. But when it's cold, I can mess with the idle screw to get it to idle without throttle, but the rpms jump once warmed, and I have to mess with the idle screw to lower it down. Thinking maybe the bigger jet or new carb might help elevate this problem.

Thoughts?

Try a larger main jet. Sounds like your running lean.

That's what I was thinking. I know they run lean from the get go. And the air box mod (if it did anything), didn't make it run any less lean. I got the Jets in yesterday. I'll give it a shot.

What's your thoughts on size, put the 110, 115 in?

Jetting will help but these don't have a high idle on choke. It's a pretty simple carb.
