Hello from Central Florida

During last Christmas I obtained a little Chinese ATV for my 8yo child. I got it free from a nearby neighbor. It was not running, abandoned, rusted, dirty. I gave it a regular tune up and put a new battery and tried cranking but would not turn on. I googled about electric problems, since they have so many safety kill switches. I disconnected all the kill switches, starting with a wire from the CDI. It started just fine. Apparently it had electrical problems. I cut all the lights and anything electrical gadget that was not necessary. My child has been riding it every weekend and loves it. I am fascinated by the Chinese ATV culture. There is a big following behind it. Recently I bought two Chinese dirt bike, one not running, and another broken Chinese ATV. I will fix them all to enjoy while we go camping next month with my mom, my sister, nephews, friends, and the rest of my family.

Welcome from California, the other coast.

Lots of good advice here for sure. Snap a pic or two of the quads and post it in the ATV forum.
