anbody tell me what i have here ? thanks

hey evereyone .just curious if anybody can throw me some ideas or info about this atv

says fuxin on tag . but i can't find any info around about the specs on this machine . bike works fine i just like to learn as much as possible as i can about my machines .i havent found one that was sort of comparible .

230cc Loncin engine .hydraulic front disc brakes . i guess mostly trying to find out what model it is comparable to so i can order a few parts .
airbox damaged . maybe a sprocket swap .
I really would like an engine manual ...i can't find any info on this engine .
does this engine have an internal oil filter if so i can't find it . it just has the drain cap and spring and screen inside .
no access on the other side for filter setup

i am quite familiar with the little 49cc up to the 125cc atv's bikes .
i just haven't owned a bigger cc model until this past summer .
also are these bigger atv's suppose to have a chain tensioner ?
thanks

I don't know anything about it but it looks like a pretty decent build.

I don't have a fuxin clue but think it looks a lot like a TaoTao ... the parts might be universal to some extent. Yeah my Rhino has a chain tensioner. The original owner might have tossed it when it got beat.

Most 165FMM is a OHC "223" (Ø65.5mm/15 pin). Maintenance step as those CRF230...
If it's the CG family (OHV/ uses pushrod). Tons guide in "Dual Sport/Enduro" section...
Anyways vertical chonda just as what they based from. NO paper oil filter. Cleaning that centrifugal filter inside is a PiTA job... http://motorcycle.sh.cn/forum.php?mo...authorid=75082

I would go with the letters and numbers stamped/engraved directly on the block before going any further. Those emission tags seem to be faked to sneak by the customs office I'm assuming.

My Rhino states different then what is installed. Motor is bigger then on that front rivet stamped card.

I would start with Kinroad. Later on, they changed their name to Runmaster. They are best known for their little off-road buggies, but there were a few members who had the Kinroad enduro back in the mid/late 2000's.

Here is a link that might help you

http://www.bmikarts.com/Kinroad_c_403.html

Here is their current site

http://www.kinroadmoto.com/

They even have a Facebook page that was last updated in 2011

https://www.facebook.com/Kinroad-USA-140776922666111/

Again, I am starting you here due to the brand name "Runmaster". Kinroad sold their products under the Kinroad name for a while, and then changed to Runmaster USA. Their site was up until a few short years ago.

thanks guys .Ive been tinkering ,playing with it a bit .cleaning it all up .
i also did a front sprocket swap . it has a 530 chain and sprockets and came with a 12 x 35 setup .i found an 11 tooth for the front ,so i bought it .it's a 11x35 now , it pulls away a bit better now , most info i read everybody was talking about 15x40 setup and going to a 13 tooth up front also their machines were using a 428 chain on the taotao 250d ,
that's was what i was reading ,
until i looked at mine and realized i had a 530 setup .
it was a lot easier to change out the front sprocket than to change the rear sprocket ,i don't think you could get it any smaller than a 11 tooth ,the chain would start to hit the bolts and the retainer would never fit .as it was i had to modify the retainer to get it to fit the sprocket .

cheers

PS: the retainer goes inside the recess on the sprocket right ??
that's how i found the one i took off ,see pic the retainer is on the wrong side in pic right?
i mounted retainer into the recess on the sprocket when i installed it

The retainer goes on the side marked 11t and should fit into the recess. You have to grind the ends down to do it.. Just do a little at a time.

Where did you get that front sprocket from? Looks better then the one I got.
