Bags Connection tank bags will fit nearly all motorcycles.

You just need to purchase the mounting ring for your specific motorcycle.

I measured the bolt spacing of the fuel filler and sent a photo to Twisted Throttle. They matched the bolt spacing with the existing mounting rings to find the proper fit.

The RX3 takes a Type 115 mounting ring.

The Microbag is quite small, and with the mounting ring recessed into the bottom of the bag, there isn't much room left. The bag does have a zippered expansion that allows the bag to raise up about another 1 inch.

I like the looks without the top case, too.

I don't need the extra storage, and I have never cared for anything that is high mounted, and sticks out past the end of the motorcycle.

Additionally, IMO, a high mounted box, out behind the bike, affects the bike's stability in crosswinds, and from wake turbulence from passing trucks.

But that's just my opinion... there are plenty of motorcycles that have top cases with no ill effects. And if you are trail riding, there are more important things to worry about than crosswinds and turbulence.

It's to be noted that I didn't had to reroute any line, perhaps because I trimmed the width of my handlebars when I installed the bar end weights.
I find them very comfortable as they allow me to stand up without reaching down, and also when seated the arm position is more relaxed with elbows falling down in a natural way.
I'm very pleased with them.

I went to install my risers and realized that although the upper part is the correct size for our bars, the lower part is sized for a smaller bar. You can still clamp it down, but it doesn't come with spacers, so there's a gap.

To those more knowledgeable to me, is it all right to have that gap?

Yes, there's a small gap. In fact the lower part isn't even really "round". As long as the flat part is correctly seated against the cradle I think we're good to go. My risers are installed like that and they're rock solid.

If you neep more pull back also have you thought about changing the bars with the tusk chub bars 1 1/8 taper down to 7/8. Come in a couple of different bends.

Indeed, the Tusk Chub Handlebars, CR High Bend, give a nice increase in both height and pullback. I have them installed on my Honda XR650L, and I like them a lot. They are an excellent value, selling for only $39.99.

Check the sizing chart tab at the following link for the handlebar dimensions.

Wondering, with the cables out of the plastic shroud, what is the ultimate amount of rise/pull back that can be accommodated without changing out the cables - has anyone figured this out yet. I will need a pull back - Rox risers will pull back up to 2" so can that be managed given existing cable length?
