Anyone else with a hawk notice their odo. is way off?

My odometer is way off it isn't kilometers or miles been going by my gps speedometer and odometer. They're not even close the bikes odometer says something like a little over a 1,000 meters and the gps which I never ride without has 800 miles. Has anyone else noticed this?

Yes i know but at 800 miles my odo is at 1038 km so that is about 162 km off. The trip is worse at 60 miles it shows about 80 km.

even my kawasaki's odo's aren't accurate. I think I measured one time that it was 4% high. not sure if that was the right figure or not. I measured it based on GPS indication over an iron butt ride that I did one time.

On a side note, I was able to measure my speedo against gps the other day. GPS measures about 3 MPH lower at 60.

Huh... on my Kawasaki KLR 650 the Speedometer is off by a few miles, but both the Trip and Odometer mileage are almost SPOT ON/PERFECT ??? Last I checked, my favorite gas station is just over 9 miles from pops house, mileage on the Trip/Odo was 9.1 miles... just over 9 miles.

I will have to see how far 'off' my Bashan is, the speedometer is off by just over 13% if that's an indication of anything to come with the Trip/Odometer readings

All my chinese speedo's have been off by 5 mph or greater but the odo's were always dead on or at least close enough to appear dead on. This is the first to be this far off.

4% is not that big of deal it is very close 13.5% is very noticeable. When I got my smart phone I tested it in our Toyota van it showed 2mph faster than it was going so that I think is normal.

Yes mines aweful, fairly accurate at slow speed but worsens the faster you go. I thinks It clocks miles faster too.

Mine measures .71 mikes for every km. Go figure, should be around .62 mikes per km.
