A couple of questions about Chinese Dual Sports....

What dealer would you guys recommend? Are all Lifans the same as far
as quality goes? Chinese scooters are freqeuntly made in different
factories but have the same brand name depending on the price the
factory bids. From what I've read, all Lifans come from the same
factory?

I've also seen other dual sports from Hi Bird and others but their
dimensions are drastically different from the Lifan specs. Are they
the same size? How about reliability?

Thanks for answering, I wish we had a Lifan dealer near by

Scott

Hey Scott,
Take a read through the forums and all your questions will be answered, seems lately we've been answering alot of the same questions that are right here in these forums... Not getting down on you but you will learn alot along the way... This site is filled with a Great bunch of guys, some girls and a huge wealth of info on these China bikes... Take a night and read through it if you are really serious about buying a China bike...

Ahhh, darn it! I did read through two pages but then peeled off to Ebay or some other site to look at yet anohter different brand of dual sport

I will continue to read since you say the info has already been beaten to death here (and it is well worth reading, anyway) but maybe these questions could be tacked onto the FAQ? To be honest, when I checked the FAQ and none of my questions were answered, I decided to post.

The only 2 Lifan dealers I'm aware of are;

http://www.motoxtreme.net/

http://www.hooperimports.com

Both have been around for many years so you can be sure they will be around in the future for any future issues/needs beyond the purchase. I have a 2005 Tank which is not a Lifan, but still runs strong and has yet to fail me.

Good Luck!

Don't forget Bruce.

I'm not sure if he ships bikes though.
