Hello from CA

Hello everyone, just signed up here.. ran into this website through a Google search. Thanks for all your contributions, ton of info already here.

Just bought an apollo 250 rx agb 36 from motobuys.com. have a Mikuni 30 carburetor on order.. the bike takes half choke to stay idle right now. Rides great otherwise, can't wait to get my MSO/BOS from the seller and then the DMV stickers to take it on some trails here.

All well otherwise, looking forward to the sport..

Welcome to here! Where in California are you? You might want to put pressure on Motobuys as a few members had trouble getting their paperwork to register (and they were waiting to register their bikes for the street) from Motobuys.

Did you get 'lucky' and get the older 'water cooled engine, with headlight/tail light" design?

Welcome aboard, I remember seeing at least one other member with a similar bike ('Apollo AGB36'), you will be able to source tons of other info from here either way

Yes I ran into a couple of threads. I am supposed to get my paperwork next week per their email. Thanks for the heads up!

Can't believe the carburetor is such a work, can't wait to swap it out with Mikuni soon. Hope it works out fine, it's so beautiful outside now. I live in Sacramento, CA.. have been looking at a few trails around to explore with my son.

I really like those and yes, they're actually legal for Green sticker here! :-)
Sharp bike!...but they do come jetted horribly lean.
Here ya go, I moved your bike from Australia to CA.

Lz... green sticker, does that mean it could be converted to street use and plated in CA? It looks like a strong built unit.
