These guys are selling a Lifan GY-5 with a "performance kit" that includes a pod air filter, bigger main jet, and a 42t rear sprocket. They also claim a 36 month warranty, as well as the counter balanced engine. Price is 1375. Has anyone ordered from these folks?

We had a discussion a few months ago about these guys. I think they got a poor review from one of the members. Search for the thread. Also, they own other mail order companies that sell the same bikes, so you need to watch out for that. This was the company that had poached members' photos and put them on their ebay store and on their site pretending that they were their customers.

Yep, I remember that now. I guess what really caught my eye was the 3 years warranty.

The warranty is no good, if you cannot get ahold of the company after the sale.

I just purchased a new Side cover from Hooper Imports via a picture of my bike (2006 200GY-2) and got the right cover, color matched (Teal/White) and at a reasonable price. Not to mention, it only took 3 working days to receive the cover.
