Your thoughts on trailering motorcycles to an adventure ride.

I don't own a trailer but I have trailered my bike:

Necessary evil with non plated bikes, and really opens the ability to go cool places with other bikes with perhaps shorter range. Just be careful to not turn into the Harley poser who trailers his/her bike to Sturgis, and unloads it at the city limits to parade his/her pirate costume LOL.

Another advantage to towing, especially with a friend, is the quality time and sharing of scenery on route to motorcycling. The conversation is otherwise impossible while riding the bikes.

I use a small, light, quality 3 rail trailer that's only about 18" high if that. Easier and much safer to load than in the back of the truck.

I hall my bikes on a trailer. If I do this there is more chance my wife will come with me. I really enjoy riding two up with my wife. Now if I can just talk her into moving someplace where I can ride all year long I'll have it made. Ride safe my friends.

I have when I moved but not to a destination to ride. I feel the adventure is more than the destination but the entire trip.

My ex wife did not like riding nor liked me riding or doing anything else I enjoyed to do so I upgraded. My wife now loves to ride and got her license and bought a RX3 and she loves it. She asks every week " are we going to ride this weekend?"

Here in Houston its December and 75-80 degrees. We plan to ride until the bridges freeze which is a possibility when the ice storms move through in late winter.

The worst part of going on a adventure ride is returning. I have often thought of quitting my job and living on my motorcycle, maybe some day.
