I doubt it; I bet you'll be blazing a new trail for us.

I agree with Weld. You have the true, China Riders spirit of experimentation and innovation.

Cheers for the info on the difference between MT05 ecus used on our bikes and Harleys Samcool, saves me splashing out on diagnostics that wouldn't work.

(reference to RX3 in description)

and here I think is the same item on Taobao

http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=...ucket=2#detail

the description suggests it might come with software.

Its a long shot but you never know it might just work
I now have the software, it came via email, just waiting for lead to be shipped.
The software is PCHUD that we have already but importantly it came with 2 Delphi MT05 parameter files and USB drivers.
One of the parameter files is in Chinese so I have been busy trying to translating it.

I have seen pictures of it all working on other Chinese bikes that use the Delphi MT05 ECU but alas not on an RX3.
Still, I think its all looking quite promising

That's quite interesting, Katflap. I'm looking forward to reading about your findings.

You're a trail blazer! Congrats!

I'm impressed with the A/F ratio; it's right on target.

Good for you, mate! You are true China Rider, and a trailblazer, indeed.

Did you get the cable from Taobao? If so, I am going to add that cable to my present order. Where did you obtain the PChud software?

If you have time, please post a new tutorial thread for using this cable and software.

Thanks Weld, this time my gamble paid off

Yep, the air/fuel ratio looks good, but I must admit its going to take me awhile to fully understand a lot of the other readings

Thanks Spud

here is the link for the cable on taobao http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=39520023502

In post #57 of this thread I posted a link to a website where you can download PCHUD for a play, but I will post a link here to the Pchud software I got with the cable and the stuff I have translated. This also includes instructions.

PCHUD is old win 3.1 software but will run on win7 32bit but not 64bit

Spud,
When the cable arrived at the Taobao agent they sent an email with a link to a picture of the cable that arrived.
At this point I emailed them asking if it came with software, shortly afterwards the emailed me back with the software attached.

You might have to do the same, but I will upload it here soon

PCHUD is quite configurable, there are more gauges to use than can be seen in my pics

The 2nd pic mirrors the pictures in the Delphi scanner manual from this thread.
The gaps you can see are where I haven't fully translated and configured it yet.
