The Hero Impulse motorcycle is manufactured in India. It looks like a capable little motorcycle.

It looks like an OHC engine; I wonder if it is a Hondoid.

The Hero website says the Impulse has an OHC engine.

Hero formed a joint venture with Honda in 1984. However, the joint venture was terminated in 2010. Therefore, I must assume the bike has a Honda engine.

The Impulse is a nice little motorcycle. However, as with Chinese bikes, it is a bit porky with a curb weight of 295 pounds.

Egads! In 2013, Hero Motorcorp bought a 49% interest in Erik Buell Racing (EBR). Next summer, Hero will be exporting four motorcycles to the United States, and EBR will be the sole distributor.

The four bikes will include a scooter, two fuel-sipping, city bikes, and a lightweight sport bike.

Over on Mychinamoto, someone back in 2012 posted they were considering purchasing Ducati, although that might have been the time when Ducati was up for sale and Audi/VW bought them?
