200CC GIO CDI - AC or DC?
Can't seem to find a straight answer anywhere. Is the cdi ac or dc on my Rebel T3?
Also, I have a problem with the search function on the site. I am only able to view the first page that comes back. When I click on next page, or click a page number other than 1, "no result" is displayed. Anyone else have that problem? |

I have that issue when I use our desktop, and I wondered if it might be due to having a network cable connected directly. My laptops don't have that issue.

How to determine AC/ DC cdi
check at the plug with your test light for the power... you can google the cdi that you have... for the power wire... if there is no DC at the plug with the key on.. then it will be a AC cdi.. when the motor is running the AC current is generated from the stator..
