Thanks for posting the great videos, Pete. The scenery reminds me a lot of Idaho!

Thanks for the vids! Is Moleworth the same track that was used on one of the DB rides? It looked very similar.

Your camera is very clear. The camping trip looked like great fun! That suspension bridge seemed to be in the middle of nowhere. Does one of your group own the camp area?

2009 was the last time the DB1K was run in this area "top of the south island"....But there is talk of the 2013 DB1K being run in this area...

The Molesworth is a sheep station & Rainbow/hydro road is a
combonation of St James station & power boad land ..Both are
opend up over the summer for public access..As they are under metres of snow in the winter..
The suspention bridge is at the end of Edwards pass ,Edwards pass is a locked gate access... You have to apply for the gate lock code..
Done that way so they know who's in there in case someone is reported missing etc..
The bridge is norrow as theres only tramping/mountain bike access
passed it... is a pitty as that track loops around & comes out though
Mailing pass in the St James mountain range..
A round trip though Molesworth/Rainbow is 300kms.. (400kms around from my gate)
