The tubes and tires are by far the most expensive part. Should be able to tear up some yard with these.

I some muffler paste. The directions said to let is cure 2-4 hours. Added heat will increase hardening. So I brought the exhaust inside and hung it on the chair. If 2-4 hours is good then 24 hours should be great.

Complication on rear tire. Pinched the tube. Front went fine.

Need to make a parts run for a fuel filter.

Got the rear brake cam out of the plate need to clean and grease it.

Oil change and it should be ready.

That looks like the paste I used. It works OK.

I've pinched my share of tubes in life too. Frustrating!

Good job on Brother Billy's XR!

I fixed the tube and installed alittle slime in it. Second time installing went fine.

Tire is so big it just clears the swingarm. Bike definately leaks alot less and sounds great now.

New tires handle well. I took it for a spin in the woods. Didn't slide on the wet leaves at all.

Needs a larger main jet. I will have to order one. It runs great with some choke applied. Idles with no choke, but won't rev very well.

Also installed new fuel line a new American made filter. Change oil with Suzuki stuff.

Took the rear brake cam out and sanded the rust off. Applied a layer of axle grease. Nice and smooth. It was siezed in the brake plate.

The license plate kept my shirt clean too.

It will go home tomorrow and I will get some larger jets to install after Christmas.

Sounds great!

Check to make sure the rear wheel does not hit the muffler on full rear suspension compression.

Not much travel on the rear. Twin shock model.

Can the jet from the original carb be used? It might be bigger.

Did you grind down the paste and paint the muffler?

Weld, I am going to try and clean the original jet. Billy is going to bring it back later in the week. Billy did the cleaning and paint work. He painted up the exhaust and polished up what he could.

News this morning. His 14 year grand daughter claimed it. She jumped on it with her skirt on and had it up in 4th before Church.

Grandson is afraid of it. Hasn't got the clutch down yet.

I have a go kart engine to bring back to life for them too.

That's hilarious! I like the imagery of a kid in Church clothes riding an old Honda.

Maybe you can help find a small 50cc China bike with a semi or fully auto.

I think he has started riding it now. He had to warm up to it.
