honda grom fuel injection on a 125cc clone engine

Hi everyone I got a question, I just got my 2014 icebear ct70 clone it has a 125cc engine and I've been wondering if I could use a honda grom/msx125 fuel injection and wire harness? And grom rims on my bike . Thanks guys

Why? Carbs are much easier to troubleshoot and service, compared to the complexity of fuel injection.

I would take a carb over FI on that sweet little bike. Besides, if you transplant your larger engine, the FI system would not be able to feed it without tweaking. A carb requires a simple jet change.

He needs to read recracer's FI thread. Will see if I can find that. Might be a better option of the GROM system.

You will have to mod your frame for the different engine mounts as the grom engine doesn't mount like a z50 engine style which is currently in your bike.
Not to say it can't be done but it isn't a drop in engine.
I don't have any experience on this, it's just what I read on the grom forums and the other pit bike forum.
You will also need a high pressure fuel pump installed in tank or externally.

FI relies on good DC source. Upgrade the alternator's output maybe NEED if using Honda PGM-FI in clone engine.
