I am running the stock front forks. They seem to be working fine for me at 210#. I can't recall ever bottom'ing them out on normal roads or trails I ride.
If they were too soft, my first plan was to change the fluid in them... but I haven't felt the need to do that yet. I'm not jumping it... or doing wheelies... which would jolt the front pretty good.
