I beat on this bike, I get a solid 3' of air over railroad tracks...

Best bet will probably bend the float down or weigh it down so it triggers earlier, use a multimeter to make sure yours is even...

I used the plastic spacers left over from a flat panel tv mount and the metal "licsense plate" bracket cut down as the crossmember and some bolts and nuts and washers...

You can relace the hawk rim on the magician hub or fabricate a new mounting bracket for the brake caliper and some bushes or the axle.

Seems the hawk forks are only about 1" longer and <1/4" closer together hmm I should be able to turn a new wheel bearing spacer for the one side and a washer for the other to make up the width diff....

Ever mount a tv on the wall, lots of really good hard plastic spacers usually come in those kits. That's what I used 1.5" spacer with a hole nearly perfect for my bolt.
