first try at PA dmv

Took all the paperwork including pictures of the VIN plate to dmv as instructed by the lady at the dmv headquarters in HBG. PA. I was turned down and instucted to take the bike to a state police or licensed PA inspection mechanic with a form to be filled out to verify the VIN,so thats next, I will keep everyone posted about all the hoops i must jump thru to hopefully get this done.i did everything they originally told me to do before purchasing bike and now they have changed the rules.

Or try another person or office? I think that sometimes people will just your paperwork is incorrect if they dont understand the trail themselves.

pa dmv

The pa dmv, won't let the small store front title and tag shops handle anything from china, already tried that,You have to go to the main office,by chance you could find a office that doesn't know the new rule and they do the paperwork, it will be sent back to you ,I'm gonna jump thru the hoops and see what happens.

Congratulations, Fishman! Indeed, some times you just need to jump through the hoops, and be polite.

In Idaho you must always get a local law enforcement officer to verify the VIN on your vehicle. I needed to follow this procedure to register both my Zong, and my new Arctic Cat 2X4 Utility ATV.

Glad to hear it. That's gotta be a weight off your shoulders. I confess that I have a hard time being patient with the DMV people; Lord forgive me. I get pretty close to losing my cool on a regular basis. I don't have the type of personality that suffers fools well.
