What is the general take on these bikes?
I think the silver one looks awesome. I have read tons about Roketa's on the boards, but have not found anything on this bike. Maybe I just dont know what model number to look for. I was dead set on a Lifan GY-5, but the tranny problems worry me. Has anyone on the boards bought this bike yet?

I recall seeing photos of this bike in the Gallery section. Somebody here bought one. The seat height is rather low, but the bike looks very nice. Is that a pushrod engine? I personally don't like the way this company exaggerate the capability of this bike.

the tranny shape and bolt pattern is identical to the Lifan I have in the garage right now. it is an OHC engine. I like the front brakes design better than my lifan but essentially you will be getting the same bike.

I have the same bike and got it from them also.. Now I like the bike but if you are planning on just getting it and takeing off riding wait !!!! I did a total go tough and found lots of bolts loose and things that had to be redone... Also replaced the bat, cleaned the gas tank, replaced all oils to include shocks.. and as for the warrenty Ha Ha they dont have the parts and are just like others .. now they did ship the bike fast and I had it in less then a week but awaiting MSO and bill of sale still two weeks later. if you have time to look around I would say you can get a better deal for your money.. I'mlooking at a second bike the hi-Bird 250 from vbike and its cheaper

What would be the best choice? This bike or the Komodo 250cc Enduro. Also what site is the best to order online? Thanks for all the input, Adam.

Hi-Bird/Komoto/Ricardo 250 are all pretty much the same.
Also consider the possible bikes DesertDog might import a container of: XTM 300cc Enduro, and he sent me an e-mail about a 350cc bike too! |

I have the same bike from the same dealer!!! He is not a dealer!!!
He is a middle man, he takes money and sends bike! that's it.... Don't expect any kind of warranty!! I have had the bike for a month now, still no MSO! He will not reply to any of my E-mails, and ofers no phone number. I like the bike,It runs well. It was shipped with damage to the Plastics and a little frame damage. Nothing that keeps it from being ridable,But, I have know chance of getting it repaired under warranty!!! I WOULD NOT BUY ANOTHER BIKE FROM THIS GUY GORDAN,NOR WOULD I RECOMEND THIS WEBSITE TO ANYONE................. GOOD LUCK! DannyB. |

He will not reply to any of my E-mails. I have asked him to simply explain the hold-up. I'm not an unreasonable person. It's been a problem since the begining! I deal with many venders and sales reps at work, mainly thru E-mail,with no problems. This guy is avoiding the problem. Why should he care, it's a cheap motorcycle, He has his money.....I have nothing againt the bike, I like it. But, I think alot of the guy's who sale them are crook's. They just buy and sell, No adress,no phone number, no local pick-up. They have nothing to loose. If sales go down due to bad business practice, they just change the name of the website. My fault really!!! I should have tried a little harder to find a local dealer... DannyB. |
