China bike dealer found in my little rural town in NC
I found a dealer in my town! I didn't know of its existance before and ordered a Roketa in a crate. One day while riding further down mainstreet than I usually go, I spied what appeared to be a Lifan LF200ii. I stopped short and pulled in and there were Hi-Bird Dual Sports, Wildfire Scooters, and this mysterious unbranded red Lifan like sport bike. It had no sticker on its swingarm to tell me it's factory origin. It also had dual exhausts and the gauges were white instead of blue. The mag wheels appeared to be pressed steel with 5 spokes (is that the right word) instead of 3. The engine was also different and not branded Lifan. Everything else was the same from the frame, muffler, carb, controls, etc.
They've got a garage setup where the tech puts together these things and they also have mini bikes and ATVs. What a find. |

Not an American Lifan dealer. I called and it wasn't listed. The ones listed around me never called me back to tell me if they could get a bike or not. Very bad customer service. One was Union Cycle in Indian Trail, NC.

From my original message, there is no way someone would conclude I was talking about an AL dealer.
The nearest AL dealer to me is 70 miles away. It took AL a week to e-mail me back with the info - and then the dealer took 10 days to get back to me. By that time I had already secured a greyfan. |
