Lifan X-Pect 2024 Maintenance Log

I'm aware the log is terribly short, but I wanted to go ahead and post what all I've done and noticed so far with this bike. Overall, she's been really fun and surprisingly reliable. But time will tell how reliable she can be. (Named her Ryuko btw lol.)

Also, I will proudly take roasting for a terrible maintenance so far...Gotta learn somehow... Thanks in advance.

Mile: 55
• Replaced oil with Mobil 4 stroke V-twin motorcycle oil 20w-50 (1 quart)
• Added Lucas Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer (1/10 quart)
Notes:
I noticed that the oil was rather cloudy. I decided to play it safely and replace the oil early. Fairly sure the issue is riding it for such short distances every day. (<1.5 Mile Trip, One way, twice a day.) Emulsification caused condensation to build in the motor oil causing cloudiness, at least, I think. Will start to ride the bike for an additional 30 minutes for each short trip taken that day. Or at least at the end of the week ride it for that total time. Noticing some idle issues, maybe need to adjust the valve? I’m pretty sure I heard ticking from the engine, I will check it tomorrow.
