BOLO Bike theft Tucson

In the hours between 2am and 5am today
My friend and companion Whitey was stolen
from the sidewalk in front of my new apartment.
If any of our AZ members see him or parts of him for sale,
Please message me here or call Tucson Police.
Whitey had a few mods and should be easier to spot. (Pics included)
I really hope that I find the garbage instead of the police finding them.

UPDATE:
Got a call from Copart Tucson on behalf of GEICO to schedule a possible pickup time to
Go collect my bike back.
EDIT: they thought they were picking it up for a damage assessment, Amateur hour with these folks.
Here's hoping the damage isn't too bad.
Will post another update with pics after going to the yard to see what's what.

And I suppose this is the end of the saga of Whitey,
GEICO has decided that a $900 check should cover the bike,
And I agreed.
May turn around and repeat my chinabike adventure,
Probably after I move to a different, more secure location,
definitely not while in an apartment in Tucson.

That sucks, Duder. The rampant, wonton crime is a huge part of the reason I packed up my family and moved away from Phoenix. We came back to West Georgia, and couldn't be happier with the decision! Sorry to hear the bike was a write off. Did they at least let you keep the salvage? What are you thinking for your next China bike?

No salvage to keep,
being as it took nearly 14hrs for the police to even show up for a statement
it probably found it's way into a scrap grinder before that.
