Norristown Throwdown
Anyone in the area between Savannah and Macon, from what I can see, conveniently just off I 16, should check out the Norristown Throwdown music festival. According to the Facebook post of the event, you can "navigate to JM Spearman Road, Adrian, Georgia, 31002. I know one of the people who hosts it, and if I ever had the time to get out that way, I would! Just wanted to shamelessly plug it here...

Odd to see somebody in Yuma plugging a music festival in rural Georgia. I'll make a post for you next time Country Thunder comes to the East Valley.

It reminded me on my Facebook feed, and I know there are a few people from Georgia, and I figured that some might want something to do next week. The Yuma connection--the woman I know who helps put it on married someone I know from Yuma. He moved there. The two of them started this festival 3 or 4 years ago. Sadly, he passed away about a year and a half ago, but the festival still goes on!
