Two Phoenix from the ashes

Hello, back in 1987 while In high school I bought my first and only scooter. It was a candy ruby red 1986 Honda Elite 150 Deluxe and sold for $950 with 8 miles on it.
I kept it until around 1995 when was offered a few hundred for it from a high school kid then so passed it on to him.
Turn the clock up to now when while helping a friend move into a new house with an old barn full of junk I found a 1985 Elite 150 stuffed in a corner covered in dirt and cobwebs. The side panels were removed but everything still there except no carburetor. I got it home and sadly the rear wheel is frozen so need to hang it off and redo the brakes. I put the battery from my 1984 Elite 125 into it and it turned over. Checked fluids, and changed oil and radiator fluid anyway and hit the start button again. She turned over strong. Quick shot of starting fluid and she fired right up blowing some now homeless spiders out the tailpipe. Have a new carb ordered and full set of pads for front and rear brakes as well as the coolant hoses because age is a factor in them. Hoping to get a front wheel with disc brakes from cheap Chinese scooter to upgrade from drum to disc and improve the one thing that sucked about these scooters from new. The 1984 125 is the copper (Sarah Connor special) and the 1985 is the base 150 in the Pleiades silver metallic color. Working on buying a pair of 1986 150 Deluxe both in candy ruby red but not running ..... Yet. Not a big fan of change so the 1987 is not on a want list just these models
