Jetmoto Enduro 200cc: possible choke issues

On a cold start, my bike doesn't want to idle even with the choke pulled. In fact, when I have the choke pulled all the way out, the engine cuts out. The engine will idle just fine after 2-3 minutes on the throttle and it's warmed up. It would be nice not to have to hold the throttle at each start-up. Thanks in advance for any ideas.

I would be inclined to think that the air / fuel screw isn't optimized. Try gently turning the screw in all the way (count the turns), and then back it out 1.5 turns.

On the next cold start, see if the performance is better or worse. Let us know.

Cheers!

I don't know about your bike but the choke cable design on my Lifan prevented the choke plate from closing all the way. It was a pain to start when cold before I changed the lower cable mount.

Thanks for the ideas. First, I'll try to adjust the intake/air screw since that would be the easiest fix. I'll let you know how it goes.
