Tell me about mini bikes
I'm looking into a basic mini bikes because my wife's son has shown an interest in bikes now that he's seen mine. But in case he ends up not liking the hobby I want to get something that I can use as well for giggles.
I'm looking at mini/trail bikes such as the Coleman CT200u/BT200X/CT200U-EX, the Trailmaster MB200, and so on. I'm aware that there are other "name brands" such as the X-Pro version of the Coleman Coleman CT200U-EX. Anyone have experience with any of these? I'd like something that has a good aftermarket for upgrades. I've also heard something called a "Predator" engine that some mini bikes can be upgraded with. |

I don't know much about today's mini bikes but the Predator engines are Chinese clones of Honda utility engines. They're very cheap but reliable. Predator is the name Harbor Freight gives their engines but the same ones are sold under many different names.
