How do you remove your atv chain

I need some help everyone. I need to remove the chain in order to change the back axel of my atv. Can someone please tell me on how to remove my atv master link.

Assuming it's not the clip type, you need to identify the "soft link" sometimes fitted to these chains. They're often a lighter colour than the rest.
The correct way of course, is to use a proper chain breaker tool. Just Google "chain breaker". Best to do Google images first to see the large variety available.
Lacking such a tool, grind off the heads of the two pins, removing any burrs left over, remove the side plate and use a nail or something smaller than the pins diameter to push the rest of the link out.

If you replace it by another soft link it will have to be riveted over. The better chain breakers do both jobs, they extract the old link and they rivet the new one on.
