I bought a 200cc chopper, I live in AL and I wanna tag it!
Okay I bought my bike from someone who bought in California, The Mso the guy gave me is blank, could i hand write all the info then go get my tag? Please help. I've been trying find if my MSO would be no good if I write on it but I can't find any info on the subject :?: . :? Oh yeah I have all the dealers info so that's what I would be putting down as the seller. And I would be actting like a first time owner of the bike

Don't take my word on it, we don't have MSO's in Canada, but I would think you would need to have the dealer fill it out for you.... I could be wrong... Hopefully someone in the know will fill you in.

I'm pretty sure that the dealer has to put his liscense # on the back. At least that is what mine had on the back.

Yes, In Ga I need the dealer's license number on the back.
Have you contacted your tag office? Go down there and ask them. Tell them you are planning to purchase a bike with an MSO and ask them what info needs to be on it? Also ask if you need any other forms. Allen

There is a Guy on ebay that sells blank MSO's. I think they are evenfrom these same choppers. They do not have anything on them, you would have to fill it all out..
I would think it would need to be typed when it is filled out except for the back. That's kinda scetchy going that route But if you have a VIN on the bike you are just taking the steps to get that vin legal. |

I think all the info on the back is okay to be handwritten in. On the front side it should probably be typewritten.

I have never seen any hand written on the front side. The back side is fine because that is what your supposed to do.
Does the back have fill in spaces for the dealer info? I know in some states you can be a low volume dealer. Meaning 5 or less vehicles a year. This requires NO dealer License and hence you do not need the dealers license # on there. You would to have your DMV state that on your title application before the MSO is sent off along with your Title app. |

i hope this is true!!!!!!!!
Okay I called the dealer that the guy bought these bikes from and they were nice, it was some chick that helped me out... The dealers name is sunny sports inc. and they're sending me a full complete new MSO filled out cause they thought I was the guy who bought this bike cause I had all his info... phone number, address, invoice number, they said it would be sent out today or tomorrow to get here next week... I hope they're telling me the truth...!!!!

That sounds like good news. I am not sure, but I think Alabama is one of the easier states to register in.
