Search for a lost title in Kansas?
I picked up a 2001 150cc Panterra last night. The only problem is that the previous 2 owners have not had a title for the bike. I have a bill of sale. Is there any way to do a title search or get another title since there's no way to get ahold of the original owner? Thanks in advance.

You could try for a bonded title.
Call your local tag office and find out the procedure from them. Allen

Had the same prob
I live in Kansas too. I've had a moped for a few years now and no title. Well I wanted to get it street legal so I went to the tag office to find out how. There you can get a form to fill out that you send to Topeka with six dollars and they will look through their files to see if it has ever been registered in Kansas, if so they can give you the info on the last person who registered it. Only the last person who titled the vehicle can get a replacement title to sign over to you if you can get ahold of them. Anyways, my seach found nothing meaning the moped probably wasn't ever registered in Kansas, but mine was a lot older than yours. The people at my city tag office weren't very helpfull, maybe you'll have an easier time. Good luck on your search.
