New bike
Alright, I am new to riding and a I just got my bike not even a week ago I dumped it in first gear the first time I was on gravel. I have given my bike time to sit and now I am having a super hard time starting it over. I assume some will say it’s it’s flooded and just give it more time but that’s where the real issues start my headlights flicker and my bike would not turn over. I checked the battery, both positive and ground wire it reset the bike and it turned over but since then nothing but I hear it clicking sound down by the starter solenoid I’ve already checked that and it seems to be fine and I followed all my wires but nothing. I am so sorry if I sound stupid in this thread but I’m at my wits end and I need my bike. If anybody has any ideas, what I could possibly do, please feel free to let me know.

The battery is also good. I tested it already. I forgot to mention that in my post.

Bypass the starter button by jumping the two heavy wires at the solenoid. This will help troubleshoot the issue. To find the starter solenoid, follow the heavy wire from the starter back to the solenoid. There should be another heavy wire coming from the solenoid back to the battery. The starter relay (solenoid) connects these two wires when you push the starter button.
So turn the ignition on and jump these two at the solenoid directly. The engine should turn over vigorously. How many volts are you getting at the battery (key turned off). It should be 13.5 Volts resting if fully charged. If it is a new motorcycle, it still may need a charge. 12 Volts at the battery resting is low.

Awesome, I will give that a shot. I am hoping that is the issue. I am not sure if this is a common thing in vaders after a dump, or is their a safety feature I am not seeing by the kickstand that would prevent me from being able to turn it over after a bike dump. I do apologize if I sound like an idiot but I just bought a motorcycle being the wife wanted to “experience a midlife change”

Does any one know if autozone carries solenide relays by chance? I’ve done everything I can think of and tested all I can think of and that seems to be the problem.

I should clarify.
If you just get clicking at the solenoid, your battery probably needs charging. 1. Disconnect the battery terminals and test the resting voltage. If it is less than 12v, it clearly needs a charge. But you can see if it starts with a boost (jumper cables). 2. Jump start with jumper cables. Use the starter button, with a good battery connected to the bike's battery (red to red, black to black). It might just start! If that results in the starter button triggering the starter and it turns over normally, then your battery probably just needs charging... The solenoid bypass just directly tests whether the starter will turn over normally which would suggest that the battery is not low on charge. But I suspect that the starter barely turns the engine over- so charge the battery.

Regarding a replacement solenoid...
You probably don't need one, but- Amazon and ebay have lots of dirt bike solenoids. Virtually any of them will work. Choose one that fits your mounting setup (fits in a rubber piece, or mounts to the frame...). AND, solenoids come in two main types. Both types have the two main posts to connect to the battery, and to the starter motor, and a third connection from the starter button. some have another connection. Get the one that matches your original solenoid. They cost $10, more or less.

I went into AutoZone and got my battery tested it tested at 10.54 but he was using a normal battery charger not a 12 V battery charger although he said it looked to be about 100% I am at my wits end. I honestly feel like it might be the starter solenoid so if I do need to replace it, that is good to know.

10.54 what? Volts? That's too dead to light the headlight almost. How is that a pass? Do you have ANY kind of battery charger. I consider at least a cheapo "trickle charger" of some kind about mandatory for motorcycle ownership.
