Wow! Very cool. Never seen anything like that before. What type of engine do they use? Is it a specific engine just for that application or is it some kind of lawn/garden/tool engine?

the engines are very simliar to weedwacker engines,,,but usually modified ,,,first mod when ya get them is throw the stock weedwacker style muffler out...an put a small expansion chamber on ,,,if its made right ,,it doubles the horsepower.

That's really cool, Fish! Like Adjuster, I've never seen anything like that. I'm not surprised that an expansion chamber wakes it up; I've often wondered that about leaf blowers and weedeaters.

Do you have a pic of the frame with the body off?

Just watching the video, I wouldn't imagine the cars are as large as they appear in the photographs.

Those are freakin awesome!! I had a remote control car that would reach as far as I could see BUT it didn't go as fast as those. It was battery operated. 9.6v I think.
