I believe those two hoses are okay. They are vents. Should just be routed to the bottom of the bike.
It looks like you are missing the sprocket cover. As recommended in another thread you will need to just replace that chain. I believe it is a 428 chain. Just take it off and bring it down to a bike shop. They can match it up. Allen

What about this little fitting its on the frame. Not sure what exactly it is but looks to be a macro line fitting not 100% sure. But will get a new chain and a new battery if i can find a new one in my area

katoranger is right on. The hose from the engine is a breather and the hose from the air box is a drain. You don't want water to fill up the airbox, and you definitely want crankcase pressure to find its way out through the hose. Both of those items are ok. Make sure that neither of them can get caught in the rear suspension.
Don't worry about the front sprocket cover. Most riders remove them to allow for easy mud removal. Just take care not to ride with wide leg jeans on. 8O Not sure what you mean by "little fitting on the frame". Keep the questions coming; we all start somewhere. 8)

I think alot members have been able to find a battery at walmart. Just bring the old one in and match it up. They usually have a sheet the cross references them. You will need the old battery to avoid the core charge too.

From the looks of "things" it sure wouldn't hurt to route your crankcase breather into the vicinity of your chain.

The OP mentions "couple things that were odd..." meaning two odd breather hoses. Didn't think the chain rusted solid was odd....

That would have been his next post... "HELP! My back wheel won't turn!" Seriously though, if he's anything like me he probably figured it was so obvious it didn't need mentioning..... I hope that was the case anyway. |
