Tbr7 chain link count for 17 front and 42 rear sprocket
Hey all. Looking for a little help getting upgrades ordered before delivery of my new taotao tbr7. I already bought a 17 tooth front sprocket and after reading many post I think I'm gonna try a 42 rear. Any help with proper chain link count would be appreciated. Also link to sprocket and a link to the chain would be great. Looks like Amazon was out of the jt 42 tooth.

I just read on a post that the 2021 bike has a 520 chain. Guess this means the 17th front I bought won't work does anyone know if one of the niche chain and sprocket sets will work for this bike?

I would verify what chain your bike has before ordering anything. The TBR7 seems to have come with 3 different chain and sprocket setups depending on where it was ordered from. Usually the front or rear sprockets will have the chain type and tooth count stamped somewhere on the sprocket itself.

Looks like mine will have the 428 chain according to the folks at q9. So good news my 17 tooth front will still work!! Back to the search for 42 tooth rear. Thanks all.
