How to spot a fake NGK plug
Lots of mentions of the fake plugs over the years. Took a look and found this web site that explains how to spot the fakes.

Yep, i'm pretty sure the NGK plug that came with my X31 is a fake, there is alot of differences i noticed on the plug compared to the ones i buy at Canadian Tire, but for $4 i'm not sure why anyone would take the chance anyways.

Agreed. I'm sure that most people who buy a China bike likely don't realize that the plug is a fake. It probably doesn't occur to most owners.
