People on this Forum.

I bought a China bike last April and sold it this past March. I still find myself checking the new threads on this sight every day. I just wanted to say that it continues to impress me how positive this community is. It always makes great reading. I just bought a used Kymco scooter this past week so maybe I still qualify as a ChinaRider?

I got my China bike in 2010 and watched it leave in 2011. I'm still here.

The Kymco: Is it made in China? Do you ride it?

I think you meet the qualifications. Ha ha

I think this forum has a ton of experienced riders who know how to maintain as well as modify their bikes.. that makes as more than willing to overlook any shortcomings these bikes get shipped with and then we go to town on them and improve upon to get the outcome we want, share with others, and throughout that time maintain our positivity.. all fun and keeps us youthful!

also, I feel like this forum has a can-do attitude.

most forums online are filled with people who are scared of their own shadow. They are afraid to do any work. They are afraid to do something different. A lot of times they don’t even have a bike or a boat or whatever.

even on forums with thousands of times more members, they can’t answer some of the questions that get answered here because they aren’t willing to take the risk to fix something themselves. they just bring it to the dealer. Or they say, "that's impossible."

Not here. Things get figured out and done.

this forum definitely qualifies as "come for the bikes, stay for the people".

Definitely my favorite forum as well. The folks here strike me as the, " If'n its got two wheels we like it" sort of crowd. I know that's the camp I'm in for sure.

I agree. Come originally for the bikes, but stay for the people!
