Boycott Kellogg's
Kellogg's hired Micheal Phelps after he had a DUI, but then he was dropped because a picture of him with a bong was circulated on the internet, now there is a Boycott on Kellogg's
With Kellogg's being a more expensive name brand product and the fact were in a recession, I would think twice before investing in Kellogg's stock! he he  LINK

It doesn't bother me that they dropped him; I'm keeping my Rice Crispies!

Well, we all know how awful pot is vs. alcohol  I mean, what is 25,000 alcohol related automobile deaths every year in the US vs. marijuana's scourge. Didn't you see that scene in "Reefer Madness" where the guy, high on pot, killed his mom with the heavy skillet? Great 1930's, accurate movie!!
The funny thing is, the alcohol was scientific fact, as he was arrested, and proven to be legally drunk (don't know which method, but the breath or blood, or urine tests are all scientifically proven) whereas most states allow the sale of water pipes (I think the photo was in England, where I am sure the same law holds true), and nothing could be proven by the photo. Are all those actors in movies really injecting themselves with heroin? Just a thought? |

This is really a first, never before has news spread as fast or created such a quick reaction as Kellogg's deciding to drop Phelps and with in hours people were calling and e-mailing them to say they would be boycotting Kellogg's.
For years we have been told the pen is mightier than the sword. With the internet anyone can wield the might of the pen, not just the global corporations news services! Change is coming!

So what if he was caught smoking pot as long as he won those medals on the up and up it's really not a big deal or connected to one or the other.
Look at our new prez with a short, distant history of drug use/experimentation-whatever and he's the prez now.....Hmmm.......... |

I don't think it was all that short. Actually he still smokes so you could say he is still an addict.

This seems like an odd reason to boycott a company, then again I don't care about this subject...

A person is not defined by a single aspect of their being.
Humans are complex, multi-faceted individuals, and our salvation may well be found in the ennobling characteristics of our diversity.
