Hello from Iraq! Going to buy 3 vbikes.
Hello everyone. I am currently deployed to Iraq for my second tour and i am coming home on leave in june and plan on buying 3 Vbike atvs. Good thing is i am stationed in fort sill which is only an hour drive from Tim's shop. Another good thing is thank the lord for this forum or i wouldnt have a clue about a china bike. Still dont have a much of a clue but more than before i started reading here. I have heard alot of great stuff about Tim and Vbike and i am looking forward to coming home and riding them. I would just like to know everyones thoughts about Vbike and their products and if anyone has had a bad experience with Tim. I am buying two 250cc V4S one for me andone for the wifey and then im going to buy a 110cc for my son. does anyone know the origin of the v4s or the life span of the vbike products? thanks oh and by the way if your wondering what GMLRS is its Guided Mulitiple launch Rocket Systems. wouldnt be the first time i have got that question.

Hello Brother rider!
Sorry I don't know much about the company, but from what I've read they have done well for their customers. I hope you're home soon, wear your gear over there, and while riding when you get home. 8O GOOD GEAR IS EXPENSIVE If there is something we can help with over here, let us know, I mean it. Hope you're getting some of the canadian's Tim Horton's Coffee. Not many canadians there, but we turn up in some of the strangest places. Stay safe, get home, and enjoy the ride. N2r.

Welcome, and thank you for our freedom. I have a friend in Iraq working for DynCorp who bought one of the Chinese bikes off a cop. His camp is out there in the middle of nowhere where they train the Iraqi police and border patrol, so he is able to get some rides in. Why not have Tim ship you the quads?

Hello GMLRS_Soldier,Wecome and Thank you for your sevice ....
I just sold my vbike v4s to buy my wife a scooter. That is a great choice for a Chinese ATV.I had it for about 8 months and had zero issues. It has a lifan motor on it. And as far as Tim goes in my opinion he is one of the best.I have purchased several bikes from him and he stands behind what he sells. Thank you again for your service.Stay safe and (God Bless You!) P.S. If you have any questions at all please don't hesitate to ask.

wow thanks everyone for the support. usually in military towns we are frowned upon. everyone thinks we are running around screwing everyones daughters. yea i definitely know good gear dont come cheap. i used to ride sports bikes when i was an atv, motorcycle mechanic before i joined the army. some great great protection available out there. and no worries for me here. i am fairly safe in my launcher. when i say launcher i literally mean my rocket launcher. thats what i do here is shoot gps guided unitary rockets at enemy combatants. great job not everyday do you go to work asking yourself "i wonder how many rockets im going to shoot today?"
well hey culcune find out which camp he is on for me. my camp is in the middle of nowhere too. damn dustbowl. i would lovefor tim to ship me a quad out here only problem is i would never get it back to the states and im pretty sure my command would have shit fit. and i havent seen any canadians yet. lots of aussies though. havent tryed the coffee either.but i do love coffee every morning. got a spill proof cup just for those early morning fire missions i can take it with me to go shoot. thanks kcukiman. thats really good to hear. one of my soldiers wives went to his shop yesterday and he said he is getting 3 new 250cc models in. so my decision might change but it might not. i am very particular about my finances and i dont like to invest on something i dont think will come through for me. so if you say v4s is the way to go, thats what im gettin. thanks everyone for the support and i will keep you updated on everything and post pics of me and my family with them as soon as i get home. thanks guys |

Hello and welcome! As others have said, thank you for your service.
I have no experience w/ Tim or VBike, but he/they are on my short list. Best of luck with your new purchase, and most importantly, get home safe!
