I try to stay out of the mud as I can't tell how deep it is or what there is to hit under the surface. Rocks, roots, etc. On a quad it's probably not a big worry but on a bike it can put a guy on his face right away... 8O

Plus I'm an OCD neat freak. :roll:

I don't like the mud on my bike or in my driveway after I do the powerwashing.

Also that red clay stains.

It's a really old county road that has never been kept up its roughly 4 miles long
