Csc rxr250
Just saw the RXR250 on the CSC Home Page.
Is it the same bike as the RX3 with all the off road accessories and luggage racks & bags removed? Supposedly it is 50 pounds lighter than the RX3. If this is true it would fit my cycling needs better than the RX3. I'm in the market for a light, compact, maneuverable, semi-dual sport with a little more horsepower. It reminds me a lot of my 1960 Honda 250 Scrambler. Kindly share your knowledge concerning this bike. Thanks, 1CW |

According to this press release, the RXR will use the same chassis as the RX3. I think its a smart move by CSC. Not everybody wants the luggage and crash protection.

I personally would buy the RX3 and remove stuff that don't plan to use as the bike is still a heck of a deal with all that gear. But if you really don't see yourself needing the crash bars, panniers and top case, rear pegs, etc. then the RXR250 may be the ticket for a "do-all" kind of bike. There's plenty of reviews and How-To's on this website, ADVrider, and YouTube, and the bike is a globally proven platform.
