Just ordered a new Hawk from Q9 powersports

HI all,

I just ordered a new hawk from Q9. They called me this morning and let me know that the color I wanted (Red) was sold out and would be another two weeks before they arrived. I opted instead to get a black one. I hope I like it. I have owned bikes all my life and have been following the Hawk for sometime now. Ill keep you updated as to how everything goes. Glad to join the forum.

What's the first mod I need to do? I was thinking fork spacers and 20 weight oil. I'm 6'2" and weigh 240 and don't want to bottom the forms it on every bump.

For the money I think a pumper carb gives the best improvement followed buy a aftermarket Ebay muffler, I have a Storm and am 220 lbs and haven't bottomed out the bike but you'll want to hear from Hawk owners on that one.

This is at the top of Duel Sport/Endura, this list is pretty much what everyone has agreed on as the things to do but definately add a Pumper carb on to that list!
