KPX went for an unexpected dip in the creek, and so did I.

I went to mow my place out in the county, and decided to take a " long cut" home. I hit a rock so slick that I don't think any kind of tire would have made a difference. I normally wear boots, but today I just had tennis shoes, and no sock, because I was wearing shorts under my long pants, so I could be comfortable mowing. I can't believe the bike is not damaged.

Thumbs Up

The KPX sounds nice! Smooth runner.

Aren't you glad it's not a 400+ lb bike!?

That would have been an "adventure", especially in that slippery stuff
And the extra weight would have broken a mirror, or lever, and bent the handlebar.

It happened quickly, but it always does. Good recovery.

Yeah, I was on my way back home. I don't know why I dread mowing so much, but enjoy riding a motorcycle.

This is the same creek ( Steer Lick) from the other direction. I was on the Hawk. The water was higher , so I didn't try to take the creek any further than necessary, which is what I should have did yesterday on the KPX .LOL

I have to admit those KPXs are way better than what I had read about online from those Chinese bike haters! I have become a believer!

I looked it over really good yesterday, and the only damage I saw was the ball end of the front brake lever has a little bit ground off. I looked at the video again, and it's visible in the video as well. I got lucky in that regard, because that whole creek bed is hard smooth rock.
