Electric start not working on Hawk 250

Hi there,

Brought my hawk 250 out as a secondary vehicle on an rv trip. Electric start worked every time. Used the bike frequently. Since getting home and not using as often, i tried the electric start and it doesn't work. Checked/Charged battery and that wasnt the problem. Randomly while out riding, I tried to use elec start forgetting it didn't work, and that one time it worked again. Then has since went back to not working, leading me to believe there might be a loose wire somewhere? Any thoughts on what the issue could be?

check the starter relay, its pretty easy
connect each side to the battery , use alligator clips
check resistance too

but it does sound like a lose wire

Yeah, the relay is the easiest place to check first and a possible culprit. I would also continuity check the starter button on the switch gear just to enaure it has consistent contact.
