DB-10 & TBR7 Bong Recreation Trail

My daughter, son and I took the bikes to Bong Recreation State Park in Kenosha WI today. They have 5 or 6 OHM tracks with ground obstacle courses such as large loose rocks, logs climbs, etc.

My daughter kept the DB-10 at about 12 mph. Her first time on a trail. Out of all the trails, only one was really OHM quality, the others were more 4 wheel friendly. The ground was very silty in area's and also had large gravel areas where the bikes would sink. It was way too loose of a ride for our comfort.

Trail 2 was the best trail. We spent most of the time on it. I was able to get up to about 30 MPH in some areas. My son who is 170 lbs was chasing me on the DB-10 as well. He was able to keep pace with my TBR7 almost the entire way.

That little DB-10 sure can fly and take a beating. It was dumped several times today. The TBR7 did great, but I wasn't going to press my luck with the obstacle courses. I'm a fairly new rider who really likes taking back country roads.

All in all, I was really impressed with that DB-10.

Do you really have a place called "Bong Recreation Trail"? That sounds like a fun place. Lol

I grew up there, back when it was a failed government project. Great place to be a kid.
