Hello & informal poll
Hey guys. Been lurking around a while and really enjoying the content.
I’m a new rider in my mid 40s, and have been doing a ton of research all over the world wide webs. After a regrettable false start with a very old CB I’m looking to get my first (running) bike. I’ve read a bunch of reviews and watched the videos I can find, but just really figured a community like this would be great place to get direct feedback. So... CSC SG250 or Lifan KPM200 - feel free to just leave a vote, or if you’re willing to take the time vote and tell me your reasoning. I really dig them both, the difference all in is just 2 or 3 hundred so which way would you go? Thanks for having me aboard! |

Welcome to the forum! I'm a big fan of the San Gabriel. I'm thinking about picking one up as the next bike that gets added to the stable. I really like the styling, and from all accounts, CSC is super to deal with. Really top notch customer care. They're also not that far from Phoenix, so I may make a weekend trip out there once things get mostly back to normal. That's my two cents' worth. Hope it helps.

I know CSC is a top notch operation; you cannot go wrong with the SG250. That being said, I voted for the KPM200. Will get you to 75 mph, or a few more mph. The SG250 might hit 70 mph.

Thank you guys for the kind welcome!
So far it looks like the forum is right where I’m at 50/50! Both bikes are currently back ordered, so I guess I have time to await a tie breaker and to keep refreshing Craigslist and FB marketplace for that elusive perfect used bike Thanks again! |
