C.D.I. question
My hawk has started cutting out at about 7k. I haven't done much investigation other than fuel strainer and air filter were clean.
But it actes very similar to hitting the Rev limiter. Has anyone ever had a cdi failure do this? My experience with them has always been that they completely quit. Could be staving for fuel but so far I've seen no evidence of it.

Also check spark plug and valves as quick and easy things to eliminate. You do have an NGK plug in there, right?
