Oil filter LF250 V-Twin
Has anyone figured out a after market oil filter # for the Lifan 250cc V-Twin -
I hate waiting for it to get shipped from up north !! :( |

You don't need a new filter for The Lifan LF250. It as very fine screen filter in it, as Yamaha uses in a few their bikes & quads. Just remove the filter from the right side of the engine and clean it with parts cleaner and then brake cleaner. Replace it and your done. You don't have to replace it unless it tears, it shouldn't. Yes it does.
The one on the bottom of the engine is very difficult to remove because of being right above the frame, you will need to grind down a 6 point wrench to remove it. Yes it is a brass screen filter and does not need to be replaced. Just clean it. The filter on the side is The Main Oil Filter, it is also a screen filter. It does not need to be changed. Just clean it. I am an American Lifan Dealer, I work on what I sell and oil changes on the bikes I sell. I Hope That This Helps.

Changed it today - Side filter was simple - The oil pump screen was a pain but I got it - Thanks -
Its easy if its up on the fork lift and you can work under it !! |
