Body Armour
Just bought some of this. It should be noted that a lot of this kit on the web is Asian size. I am an "L" (UK 42-44) but ordered a "2XL" and it fits very well.

Very cool. How did you choose the size?

Luckily, in my research (eBay and general web search, including Amazon) I spotted a comment from someone who had ordered and they recommended you go up a minimum of one size, so I would have gone from "L" to "XL". Then I thought that, even though the fabric of the item is mesh, I was going to be wearing long sleeve t-shirt or similar underneath and didn't want it to be too restrictive, so chose "2XL". I could have got away with an "XL" but this fits, albeit that I have had to pull the adjuster straps almost fully in to get a good fit. However, my "Dad bod" means that my chest and waist size are nearer than the good doctor would like, so the kidney belt front fastening (velcro) is nowhere near the full in position, about half-way.
Let's just say it has been a very long time since I could fit in 26" fatigues.

Looking at the back-view, what would look cool would be red LED's outlining the back protection.
In the UK, it is illegal to have flashing LED's on a vehicle, but it is legal to have them if you are wearing them (clip on lights for cyclists etc). I will think about it . . . .
